Since 1990, Dialogue New Brunswick has encouraged people to talk and to listen to each other, understanding that as we learn about each other, we grow together. We want to give you the opportunity to show your support and help us increase understanding among NB's Anglophone and Francophone cultures by inviting you to become a Dialogue Champion.
So, you’re asking yourself, what is a Dialogue Champion?
It’s a way of showing your pride in New Brunswick's unique linguistic and cultural make-up. You can compare Dialogue Champions to a booster club for your favorite team.
When becoming a Dialogue Champion you’ll receive:
Regular updates on Dialogue NB’s events, programs and whatever else is happening. We will l introduce you to other Dialogue Champions plus showcase people, organizations or businesses who are promoting similar goals and attitudes to yours.
As a Dialogue Champion, you decide your level of participation. Here are a few ways you can show your support.
•First. Speak up! If you have an idea or an opinion you feel would increase respect and understanding among Anglophones and francophones, share it with your colleagues and your friends! We would also like to know about it.
•Lend a helping hand. Dialogue New Brunswick is always looking for help to organize events and programs.
•Be our eyes and ears in your community! Is there an upcoming event where Anglophones and Francophones will come together? Do you know of a festival, concert, conference or business where cultural and linguistic harmony are showcased or promoted? Let us know!
